Linear Lines
Problems in Design I
For this project I used popsicle sticks to represent movement. The sticks could not be placed directly on top of each other or directly side by side. I had to use at least 100 popsicle sticks. My inspiration came from a picture I had found researching another project. The tall zig-zag formation comes from the dips and curves in the structure. I kept an opening so that the inside was visible. The joints between the popsicle sticks took awhile to come up with. I liked the way they look from the inside because it looks like it is laced together. The gap gets wider and smaller to represent the movement.
